We had our good friends Ian, Keegan, and Todd over for dinner for Jeremy’s birthday last night. An awesome steak dinner, some VERY cool new GoPro gadgets, and a lot of laughter and fun. Happy Birthday Jeremy!

Shouting out a VERY happy birthday to my adorable niece Nikki today! Here she is over the years – starting from basically Carter’s age until just last month. We hope you have a wonderful birthday and can’t wait to celebrate it with you this weekend!
Winetasting
About four or five months ago, my soccer team decided we needed a fun team activity to do outside of drinking beer after becoming a sweaty mess each friday night (sorry Denise … I mean *sparkly mess* for you). Wine tasting sounded like fun and the only time everyone had free was in August when my yard is ca-razy, so Jeremy and I invited the crew over, got a couple of babysitters for all the kids, and we all headed out to the warehouse district in Woodinville to celebrate Shannon’s birthday.
I just had my phone with me, so here are a handful of photos from the vodka distillery that had an eclectic charm … dead stuffed animals, a giant pig, and a barbie chandelier.
And then there was a random birthday serenade to top the day off (and the first video post with the Lumia!).
Papa’s Birthday Celebration
Here are some photos from dinner and of the kids playing on Papa’s birthday. The new teeter-totter is a hit – the kids absolutely love playing on it and Charley taught the boys all the good tricks for going in a circle REALLY fast. So fast that Carter liked to close his eyes … yeah, that didn’t make me nervous or anything… I also got a self portrait in there too. I made my nephew Chase pose with me and then teased him that we will title that photo “toleration” because he knows I am the one that buys all the birthday and Christmas presents ;-)

The Next Teenager
Today my nephew Ryan turns thirteen. THIRTEEN. It hurts a little to say that… The family got together over the weekend to celebrate this huge milestone and here are a handful of photos from the event (and I am finally getting better about getting some proof I was there too – lets see if you can find me, haha).
